Staff

Four program staff are nationally Certified Dementia Practitioners as awarded by National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). The Director is a National Dementia Practitioner Trainer, authorized to provide Dementia training any where in the United States. All staff are CPR Certified.

Lauren Fitzmaurice MSW CDP Executive Director National CDP Trainer Lauren has been with Covenant since November 2008. She serves as family services counselor and support group facilitator. Mary Moore CDPAdvanced Master Gardner Portage Activity Director Mary is certified in Gerontology from KVCC, has completed the MADSA Program Assistant Training, and is an Advanced Master Gardner and member of the Michigan Horticultural Therapy Association. She has been with Covenant since July 2000. Mary oversees our state award winning horticulture program.

Jeanette Lagowski CDP Portage Program Assistant Jeanete has had a variety of work experiences involving sewing, gardening, and crafts. she is a member of the Michigan Horticultural Therapy Association and supervises our raised bed garden project. She has been Covenant since September 2000.

Helen Coleman BS CDP Portage Program Assistant and Family Services Worker Helen attained a Bachelor's of Science from Western Michigan University. Emeriti Board member and previous volunteer, she joined Covenant as a paid professional in June 2005. Helen co-facilitates the Caregiver Support Group.

Kim BoysenOffice and Financial Coordinator

Janice Marsh-Prelesnik Janice has a Bachelors' of Arts in Holistic Health from Goddard College and is working on her Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy from IUPS. She anticipates completion in August 2010.

Kathleen Barnum Foot Care Clinic Podiatrist Kathleen provides routine foot care for our Covenant seniors and is also employed for Foot Works, L.L.C.

Bob Durian Driver Bob is CPR Certified. His most recent driving experience was with Senior Services for 10 years. He as been with Covenant since Octobver 2004.

Jack Lawrence Driver Jack is CPR Certified. After volunteering with us, Jack joined Covenant staff in August 2002.

Mark Zidell Driver Mark is CPR Certified.
